Annual Night 2023 29th September 2023, from 7:30 pm onwards, The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata

On the occasion of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Annual Night a specially curated, ‘Défilé de mode’, a Runway Walk, Of the Members, By the Members, For the Members, was organized on Friday, 29th September 2023 from 7:30 p.m. onwards at The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata

Défilé de mode aimed to celebrate the rich Heritage of Bengal in the realm of Bengal Textiles, Handloom, Weaves and Handicraft, was all about blending the global imprint of fashion with the collective sensibilities of India with an evergreen golden hue about it. The walk was choreographed by Show Director Ms. Shubha Kenworthy, on live musical performances.  Mrs. Kanaklata Datta and Mr. Amalin Datta, Owner, Sharbari's Studio, and Mr. Abhishek Ray, Proprietor, A Square Creations provided the apparel for the walk under their renowned brands.

The programme was emceed by Ms. Soma Mitra Mukherjee, Director, The Bengal Chamber, Mr. Arnab Chakraborty, Director, The Bengal Chamber and Mr. Kumar Shivam, Director, The Bengal Chamber. A total of nine Managing Committee Members strolled with their spouses, and eight BCC&I Secretariat also took part.

The Annual Night had the presence of Industry Leaders, Policymakers, and Thought Leaders. This was followed by The Annual Reception and Cocktails, which was a very well attended gathering of who’s who of the local business fraternity.

The evening was supported by Haldia Energy Limited, Sunlight – Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Jagriti Dham - an initiative of Infinity Group, Ascensive Educare Limited, Carlsberg was the Pouring Partner. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the session. It was also well covered in the media.
