“It is our job to ensure that the electricity reaches each and every consumer in a more reliable manner, focusing on quality. Our prime challenge at hand is maintaining this assurance at a constant rate. The CEA had been taking a good amount of exercises in order to achieve this endeavour particularly emphasizing on clean energy. The important point on this plan is the visibility of technology available in the country and what is likely to happen in the given time frame? Our roadmap to 2030 is clear in respect to how much renewable energy is to come such as Solar, Wind, Battery Storage or any other sources of energy. If someone takes a leap into the last 2 years, the growth has been phenomenal as there has been months where growth rate even gone to 20%. We are thinking of including all types of capacities in our distribution including thermal as well.”- Shri Ghanshyam Prasad |
