The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Global Cloud Cayr Pvt Ltd jointly organized an Interactive Discussion on empathy-based individualistic approach to patient care, over dinner and cocktails at the J W Marriot Hotel on 28th March 2024. 

The interactive discussion was conducted by a team of Doctors from USA and India with expertise in critical care and other areas, along with technocrats with expertise in artificial intelligence namely, Dr. Rahul Anand, Consultant Critical Care and Emergency Medicine (India); Dr. Neha Singh, Consultant Diabetology & Emergency Medicine, India; Dr. Kaninika Verma, Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine Physician, Director of Sleep Medicine-OSF HealthCare Illinois Lung and Critical Care Institute (ILI) (USA); Dr. Bhagat Singh Aulakh, MD, FCCP, WFR (USA), Internal Medicine / Pulmonology / Critical Care / Neurocritical Care Physician; Dr. Deepak Taneja, MD & FCCP (USA), Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, Cardiac Critical Care and Point-of-Care Ultrasound.

The Interactive Discussion made an impact and brought together Hospital Administrators, Doctors, Nurses and Technocrats with expertise in Artificial Intelligence on a same platform. The session presented a unique opportunity to address a felt need for a novel empathy-based, individualistic approach to patient care which was attended by the who’s who of the healthcare fraternity. The Interactive Session was attended by close to 50 delegates.
