The Heritage Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) organized the Fourth edition of Annual Heritage Quiz 2024 on the occasion of World Heritage Day on Tuesday, 7th May 2024 on Virtual Platform win association with INTACH.

The primary objective of this quiz was to foster understanding and appreciation of both Indian and World heritage among high school students, ranging from Classes 8 to 12.

Over 1600 students representing approximately 100 schools participated in the quiz, showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm for heritage. From which, 86 semi-finalist teams were selected, then narrowed down to 8 finalist teams, and finally, 5 teams competed in the Grand Finale. The selection process was overseen by our Quiz Master Mr. Arindam Bhattacharya, Founder and Partner, Cradle Solutions Pvt. Ltd, one of the leading Quiz Masters of the Indian Sub-Continent.

The winners of the competition were Daivik Goel & Izaan Shafique from Delhi Public School, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, first runners-up were Aditya Jaiswal & Devansh Gupta from Sunbeam School Lahartara, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and second runners-up were Arjun Suyal & Ojasvi Aaryan from Army Public School, Shankar Vihar, New Delhi.

This online quiz provided an excellent opportunity for students to explore into the rich legacy and heritage of India and the world, exposing them to unique knowledge and experiences that will benefit future generations. Along with The Bengal Chamber, the fourth edition of the Annual Heritage Quiz was organized in association with INTACH; supported by National High School, RT Network Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Omdayal Group of Institutions, I Can Flyy-Tea Kafi, and Knowledge Partner Cradle Solutions, was instrumental in the success of this initiative. The entire initiative was hugely appreciated by all who participated.
