3rd Edition of Short Term Certificate Course on Cyber Security 2024, 17th February – 9th March 2024, Phygital

The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in association with WEBEl- Fujisoft Vara CoE Industry 4.0., organized 3rd Edition of Cyber Security Course 2024; focusing on two extremely critical areas:

  • Supply Chain Security Risk & Impact of AI for Enterprise and 
  • Digital Personal Data Protection Act in India (DPDP)

It was a 16 hours course in immersive mode: 

  • 17th February 2024 (Supply Chain Security Risk in CoE)
  • 24th February 2024 (Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) virtually
  • 2nd March 2024 (Data Protection and Privacy in the Supply Chain; Building Resilience in Supply Chain Security; Regulatory Compliance and Standards in Supply Chain Security) virtually
  • 9th March 2024  (Impact of AI for Enterprise in CoE).

The workshop had 36 participants from various sectors including steel and metal, energy, manufacturing, oil and gas, health, technology, consultancy among others.  

The nominations were from Air Water India Pvt Ltd; Exide Industries Ltd; Gainwell Commosales Pvt Ltd; Haldia Water Services Pvt Ltd; Indian Oil Corporation Ltd; Medica Hospitals Pvt Ltd; Mjunction Services Limited; Oroprise Solutions Pvt. Ltd.; Pricewaterhouse Coopers Pvt Ltd; Rashmi Group; RPSG Ventures Limited; Saha Steel Pvt Ltd; TATA Steel Downstream Products Limited; Tech Mahindra and Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital Ltd. 

Workshop on Cyber Security is an annual engagement of BCC&I. Last two years covered Vulnerability Management and Social Engineering in 2022 and Ransomware and Data Privacy in 2023. 

The concluding session of the course was followed by certificate distribution. Mr. N K Ghosal, Member, IT Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mentor, WEBEL-BCC&I Tech Incubation Center and Director, NKG & Associates presented the joint certificates (WEBEL- Fujisoft Vara CoE and The Bengal Chamber) to the participants and prizes to the winners of the Quiz conducted during the Workshop.
