The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Education Delegation to Vietnam, 5th to 9th August 2024, Vietnam

The Bengal Chamber of Industry’s Vietnam Education Delegation organised from the Education Committee, took place from 5th to 9th August 2024, visiting Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam. The delegation consisted of 18 members from institutions such as Techno India Group, SNU University, JIS University, Delhi Public School, Omdayal Education & Research Society, Jyotirmoy Education and Welfare Foundation, Saraswati Online.Com India Limited, Ascensive Educare Pvt Ltd, Bright Future.Com Skills Private Limited, Kingston Educational Institute, Aditya Group.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation visited Van Lang University, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (HCMUSSH), Saigon International University (SIU) and Hoa Sen University. Five MOUs were signed with Hoa Sen University by JIS University, Techno India/SNU University, Saraswati Online.Com India Ltd, Kingston Educational Institute and Kingston Law College. The Delegation also met Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi, the Consul General of India. The meeting focused on strengthening educational ties between India and Vietnam. The delegation expressed gratitude to Dr. Sethi for his crucial role in facilitating connections with Vietnamese universities.

In Hanoi, delegation visited FPT University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Phenikka University, TH School and Phenikaa School. MOUs were signed with HaUI with JIS University, Techno India/SNU University (including its Agartala branch), and Kingston Educational Institute.

The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in collaboration with the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM), organized a B2B meet in Pullman Hotel, Hanoi. The event, attended by Mr. Chinpu Ngaihte, First Secretary from the Embassy of India, provided a platform for Indian delegates to connect with key stakeholders from Vietnam. Participants included representatives from TH School, FPT University, Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, National Economics University, RMIT University Vietnam, and Navigos Search. The B2B meet facilitated valuable networking and relationship-building, focusing on educational exchanges and internship opportunities.
