The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) organized the 1st Edition of Olympics Quiz 2024 on 20th July 2024 at the Chamber premises. This was the pioneering initiative of BCC&I's newly curated Youth Impact Committee, chaired by Mr Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group.

BCC&I is very much dynamic in the realm of Quiz. Over the years, BCC&I organized diverse quizzes- Technology Quiz; Heritage Quiz; Marketing Quiz and Health & Lifestyle Quiz. Our Biz Tech Startup Quiz, in March 2024 in Bengaluru, was probably first of its kind initiative as Quiz for Startups. BCC&I, being a prominent and active association, organizing such vibrant, knowledge dissemination and engaging platforms across sectors, had taken this unique initiative. We would like to take this initiative forward celebrating the Olympics every four years going forward.

46 teams, comprising both professionals and students participated in the 1st Edition of Olympics quiz 2024 out of which 8 teams had made the cut for the Final Round.

Mr. Kinshuk Biswas and Mr. Auritro Chowdhury were the Quiz Masters.

The Team comprising of Mr. Gokul S and Mr. Deepanjan Deb (Delhi and Hyderabad) were the Winners; the team comprising of Mr. Somnath Chanda and Mr. Soubhadra Chakrabarty were the 1st Runners Up while the team comprising of Mr. Titash Banerjea and Mr. Samanway Banerjee from Bengaluru were the 2nd Runners Up.

The Winners had been awarded with prize money of ₹ 30,000 along with trophy and medal and other gift vouchers. The 1st Runners Up had been awarded with prize money of ₹ 20,000 along with trophy and medal and other gift vouchers while the Second Runners Up had been awarded with the prize money of ₹ 10,000 along with trophy and medal and other gift vouchers.

The Award Ceremony was followed by Networking Reception for the Olympics enthusiasts to connect better with each other.
